I've spent over 20 years at both creative start-ups and major network agencies in London, New Zealand and Australia. I've earned over 100 local and international awards at every major international award show including two ADFEST Grande Lotus, an APMA Grand Prix, AWARD Best in Show, and a rare Cannes Effectiveness Lion.
I'm a strategic thinker and believe in problem design to uncover new ways for brands to respond to relevant cultural tensions in interesting and relevant ways for specific audiences. I have extensive experience leading teams to deliver local and global brand storytelling for my clients grounded in the belief that in order to deliver the most effective work, you need to create interesting, not advertising.
Since Joining Colenso in 2015, I have helped Fonterra go from 9th to 5th in corporate reputation scores and receive their first ever recognition at Cannes. I've been on new business winning teams for Auckland council and DB breweries and achieved back to back gold lions for Anchor.
I'm passionate about visual communication and education and ran the Communications Council’s Art Direction Principles course in Sydney for 2 years. I have also had work selected for the Musée de la Publicité National Poster Collections in Paris.
